Mine did the same thing (the sound of hot oil n water)....after drying the inside before putting Oil in...what I'm trying to find out is how do you know when Oil is 350 degrees. The instruction book doesn't say...I assumed the Red light would turn Green...who knows?

I just got this blender and it's honestly crap. It won't blend a smoothie well, and starts smoking if I hold the button down for more than 3 seconds. I'd rather get the $20 one that will actually blend things, but that is just my opinion. Anyone else have this kind of problem with this blender?

Everyone seems to use frozen french fries. With no timer, I guess that's what you have to do. Most french fries are cooked in two batches. First to blanche and second bath to finish cooking.

we really shouldn't be doing this, petting a wild bird and interacting with it may make the bird become attached to you and not wanting to leave, it is illegal to domesticate wild birds and when you let it go, it wont know how to survive and it would possibly die. doing this once or at least if your allowed is ok.
